In a few hours from now, the series 15 of The Amazing Race [ http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race/ ] will premiere on CBS. This is going to be huge!

Some of you may know that I’m fan of TAR (The Amazing Race) which is a reality game show involving 11 teams of 2 people. They travel all around the world by planes, taxis, rental cars, trains, busses, boats, animals and by foot. They try to get 1st at the various pit stops or else they risk elimination.

Personally, I am fond of series 10 for the teams got to race in Mauritius (my home country.) I also love series 13 for some contestants are my friends. Big up to Kelly, Christy and Mark!

There are many versions of the show. I prefer the original US one. Plus, Phil Keoghan is one of the best TV host everrrr!!!!

I like the cast for this series for they seem to resemble good contestants from past series.

Meghan & Cheyne | Relationship:Dating

Meghan and Cheyne remind me of Eric and Daniel of Series 9 and 11 (All Stars.) I do expect a few quarrels but I think their chances of winning the race are very strong. They are very fit.

Maria & Tiffany | Relationship: Professional Poker Players

I do not know the reason behind which they are competiting. They don’t need the money. They will clash with the other teams, for sure. However, I wish this team to win because they remind me of Dustin and Kandice of series 10 and 11. I have crush on Maria Ho!

Go Maria and Tiff!!! They are focused, can take risks and are brilliant! Maria and Tiff FTW!

Marcy & Ron | Relationship: Dating

These guys appear to be fun. They are old but enthusiastic.

The thing about old races is that other teams want them as an ally for they are more approachable. Also, having an old contestants in the finale, increases the winning chances of the younger teams. Marcy and Ron remind me of Teri & Ian of series 3 and 11 (All Stars.)

Lance & Keri | Relationship: Engaged

OK, Lance and Keri are similar to Rob and Kimberly of series 10 except that Lance seems to be an arrogant jackass! I look forward to watching the endless bickering. I do wish them to be more successful than Rob and Kim by making it to the finale and winning the race.

Herbert & Nathaniel | Relationship: Teammates

I find this team plain and not interesting at all. I hope that they will reveal more of themselves throughout the series.

Gary & Matt |  Relationship: Father / Son

I like their dynamic. They are the mild version of Ronald and Christina of series 12. I expect them to fight a lot. They will learn a lot from racing together. I wish them to make it to the finale.

Garrett & Jessica | Relationship: Dating On and Off

Their relationship status is their doom. As seen in previous series, the “dating on and off” does not work at all. They remind me of Tara & Wil of series 2. Tara flirted with another contestant and caused a lot of tensions. I do wish that there is some drama involving these two. Drama is entertaining.

Brian & Ericka | Relationship: Married

Wow! It’s true! There have never been interracial couples on TAR before now! They seem to be very athelic and cool. They seem to have the spirit of John Vito and Jill of series 3 and 11. I wish them well. Take note that Ericka was Miss America 2004!

Eric & Lisa | Relationship: Married Yoga Teachers

Eric and Lisa remind me of Tyler and James of series 10. Both teams went through drug addiction. I do not know whether or not yoga can help in racing. TAR is all about being decisive, fast and focused. It would be fantastic (in terms of entertainment) if they ended up fighting. LOL.

Sam & Dan | Relationship: Brothers

These guys are cool because they are cheerful gay dudes. They remind me of Oswald and Danny of series 2 and 4. Sam and Dan will have loads of fun throughout the series and I believe the audience will love them! Sadly enough, their cheer may make them lose their focus in the game. I do wish them to make it to the finale.

Zev & Justin | Relationship: Friends

I really wish these guys to win. Zev is an Aspie (he has Asperger’s syndrome.) As someone who has to overcome the understanding of social norms by comparing life with stored textual and visual data, I know of Zev’s difficulty. (I’m an Aspie too.) Zev and Justin FTW!

I think people will think that being an Aspie is a disability. It is not. You can live a normal life. It just needs a lot of mental work. So, do not compare Margie and Luke (of series 14) to Zev and Justin.

Mika & Canaan | Relationship: Newly Dating

I expect loads of bickering, crying and a breakup. I am aware that it is sad but these usually happen. They are newly dating. I hope that they can gain a lot from the race.
