Google Mauritius Day 2009 & Street View Question
Many tweeps have been tweeting/gossiping about the upcoming Google Mauritius Day events on September 3rd and 4th 2009.
I’ve gone through the questions posted at http://moderator.appspot.com/#15/e=b3f18&t=b6626 and I found some funny/crazy ones.
- Some guy confused Google Wave with Mozilla Weave.
- There was even an insult. (I consider the “question” to be quite condescending)
Anyway, I’ll be covering the events via @fadilfr and blog.fadil.fr and I’ll compare it to Google Japan Day 2009.
GJD 2009 was very entertaining. Let’s hope that GMD 2009 will be as successful!

Google Street View – Question
There’s a very interesting question posted on Google Moderator.
“What is the plan for Google Street View for Mauritius, knowing that the island is a tourist destination and Street View is a feature on high demand by many tourist operators?” – Riley
